First off, don’t get overwhelmed by this list! DO NOT try all of these, but if you feel like you’re coming off the rails on your goals try one to keep you on the tracks.

Commit to another- Find someone to help you stay committed. People who have to meet a friend or trainer at the gym at 5:30am are more likely to get out of bed. You can apply the same principle to sales. Have your sales team have “Power Hour” where everyone prospects during the same hour every day.
Think about others- Ask yourself, if you achieve the goal “Who else wins?”. We will often do more for others than we will for ourselves.
Time Block- My #2 tool. Get time on the calendar to get working on the project.
Define The Reward – What reward will you give yourself if you “do the work”.
Start A Streak – My #1 tool. Track daily if you did/didn’t work on the goal. I have two streaks going 203 straight days of some form of exercise and 381 days of logging my eating in MyFitnessPal. You need a reminder asking you this question every day. There are apps like Coach.me, Winstreak and probably 100 others. My method is I get a text message each night at 9pm with a link to a Google Form that asks me “Did I make progress towards today?” and I answer either yes or no.

Get some daily awareness towards your goals and enjoy the rewards!
